Layout themes in FileMaker — consistent styling across layouts

Beginner

Apply and manage layout themes to maintain a consistent visual style across all layouts, and understand how changing themes affects existing objects.

What you'll learn

  • How to apply and change a layout theme
  • How themes interact with named styles and local overrides
  • Which built-in themes are available and when to customize

FileMaker layout themes (introduced in FileMaker 13) provide a named collection of styles that define the default appearance for all objects on layouts using that theme.
